Facing environmental damages and facing todays disasters, Hurricanes, droughts, heat spells, scorchers, Oceans rising, glaciers shrinking, Greenhouse effect is our Titanic, Also facing threat of end of "civilization of oil" and of fossil energies, we must prepare ourself to "life after oil". 2015, oil flows away ! 2030, gas blows away ! 2015: This is the estimated year for world peak of oil production, the "beginning of the end", chronic shortage and "depletion" as it is clearly pointed out and argued about in Jean-Luc Wingert book "Life after oil" (French: “La vie aprčs le pétrole”) published by "Autrement frontičres" (may 2005). Yves Cochet in his book "Oil Apocalypse" (French: "Pétrole Apocalypse"), published by éditions Fayard (september 2005), is regarding this production peak already as a major threat to our civilization. Jean-Marc Jancovici points out that estimates from oil companies and from ASPO are spread over between 2010 and 2025, in his book "Fill it up please!" (French: "Le plein s'il vous plaît!") published in February 2006 by "Le Seuil". Now that we are aware of this, what can we do? Individually and collectively, how can we act? We must implement and deploy renewable energies, most of them resulting from solar energy. In Solar song, concrete individual actions proposals are made: For me, it’s immediate !: put solar cells on every roof ! raise blades along gardens and roads ! For me, let’s hurry up ! Throw out my air-cooled 4 Wheel-Drive Downtown by bus subway or bike ! Now, it is your turn to act! Other actions can be taken and no solution must be ignored, because the issue is of utmost importance. Moreover, being a "BIO producer" is a concept already present throughout agriculture, and here this would mean opening this way for... musical culture. Simply said, when we are at this point, we wish to be able to dispatch "Green and BIO" CDs in carton packs made of 100% recycled materials, with a booklet printed using 100% environment-friendly techniques and 100% recycled paper, packed in a refundable packaging for transportation or 100% recyclable, and printed using vegetable inks. The CD itself, the "pancake", today it is not -not yet- made out of potatoe starch nor corn starch, biodegradable. But the time will come, and we would be very pleased to be the first to implement this new material.
